Building the infrastructure for builders
Just a happy guy obsessed with designing ecosystems that unlock opportunity for underestimated and overlooked communities. I'm a founder building in food systems and the startup ecosystem through Lotssy, EcoLogic, and OpenBuilder. Right now I'm focused on growing OpenBuilder into the go-to fellowship for early-stage African founders, while keeping the work on the ground moving through Lotssy and EcoLogic. I write mostly about startups because there is no bigger force for good nowadays than business, and there is something special about seeing someone pick up the mantle and say, I want to be the one to make this happen for my community, then invest their prime years on earth making it happen. Beyond that, I do content creation and videography work, mostly contracts with organisations doing impactful work, capturing what is happening during project opening, ongoing, and closure. I just wrapped something like that up with IsraAID and BGC Engineering. I genuinely love that work, mainly when I get to speak with the beneficiaries of a programme and see the impact up close.
